It's almost 5am, and Mum's up. I'm not helping with her insomnia, since it looks like I've got the hiccups...again.
Went and visited with Rebekah the midwife yesterday. Things were perfect! Mum didn't pee any sugars, she gained the right amount of weight and her fundal height is bang on. I am head down and had an ok heartrate. It was in the 120s/130s, which is slower than usual. Rebekah said that's ok because I was probably sleeping. Mum had some tests done, and we were on our way to get her some icecream! Lol that's the reward for no sugar all day. Dad made a joke that Mum's on the 'midwife diet' - no sugar on the day you have your appointment.
We're off to a cottage this weekend with friends. Both Mum and Dad are excited, but Mum has her worries. She can't help out as much, she's not sleeping well and it's going to be hot! Relaxing with friends will be nice though.
Two more days of work for Mum! She actually thinks her paperwork will be done too! It's amazing the amount of work she's done to get ready to go away for a year! I'm proud of her.
Well, maybe Mum can get another hour's sleep before getting up for work.
