Hope that's just the pattern for this blog, and not for my arrival! So, I guess Mum's not very good at keeping up with this blog since finishing work! Not as much computer time.
The cottage was great, as usual. Mum did have some discomfort, but I don't think anyone else was bothered by her needing to sleep inside.
Since then, Mum has been off work, but keeping busy! Nanny and Mum went to London to get a bunch of last minute stuff to have ready. There will probably still be things I need that Mum hasn't thought of! Then there was the whole crib drama. In the end, I have a beautiful crib, white, and my room is ready to go. Grampa came and set up the cradle too, so that's ready. Mum got our hospital bags packed, and Dad got the car seat installed. All without getting mad at each other! My parents did good. Mum still has a few things on her 'to do' list, but I think those things left aren't as important.
At the last midwife appointment, everything continues to be good. Mum's belly got a little bit smaller, and Mum lost a little bit of weight. I guess that happens as I drop into position. Mum's biggest complaint these days is the swelling makes her fingers hurt. Sometimes it's hard to bend her fingers around the steering wheel or teacup. Sleeping continues to be an issue too.
So, needless to say, everyone else is ready for me to come out, but I'm still quite cozy in Mum's tummy. Mum's taking old-wives-tale suggestions to try to coax me out!
