Heartbeat

So, today was Mum's last 'team meeting' day before she's off on maternity leave. Feels like just yesterday the team meeting count downs started! The meeting was done at noon, which was great because some of Mum's coworkers met at a patio for lunch after. The 'aunties and unkies' from the Chatham and Windsor offices bought me a great portable booster seat and feeding items. They picked the eating theme since Mum does swallow assessments for work. Very creative and thoughtful!

Mum has also successfully figured out how to use the stethescope to listen to my heartbeat. This is a good thing, and bad. Good because it gives Mum a way to be reassured all is well with me and helps her focus on me and the fact that a real human being is going to be part of her life very soon. Bad because it creates a whole new obsession for Mum, and she worris too much already. For example, she is now worried I am breeched again because my heartbeat was strongest above her belly button. Is it possible that I'm still doing summersaults in here!? Or maybe the midwives were wrong? See...worrywart.

Mum and Dad are really looking forward to going on a little vaca to Toronto this weekend. Mum is especially looking forward to seeing all her friends and swimming in the hotel pool.
