The midwife called Mum today to let her know that the diabetes screen came back as needing more testing. So, I guess Mum's gotta go and have more blood taken and this time, she'll have to fast for 10 hours before!! Then sit in a waiting room with all the sick people (and continue to have no food or drink) while they take her blood at the one, two, and three hour mark after drinking that McD's tasting drink. I'm going to be so hungry! 13 hours without food or drink!?! The drink made Mum kinda nauseous last time, hate to see what it will do after 10 hours of fasting.
We hit our 29 week mark on Wednesday of this week. Nothing too dramatic going on in my growth, except my brain continues to get more detailed (I'm ready for language learning Mum!), and I'm putting on weight. According to one website, I should be about the size of a loaf of bread.
Mum's work started a pool to guess what gender I am, when my birthday will be, and how much I'll weigh. Very fun! So nice that Mum is surrounded by so many excited people. I guess I'm the only one who knows the real answer! Ha ha!
